We’ve had the honour of working with the legendary Joseph Parker for over ten years. It’s a relationship built on a shared approach to life; resilience, a commitment to craft, knowing your heritage and the pursuit of what is ahead. We’ve dressed Joe from weekend wear to made-to-measure suiting on world boxing’s biggest stage and everything in between. So it was only right that we celebrated this milestone by creating a product and experience that is something truly unique.
Around a year or so back we were chatting with Joe in store while fitting a suit and asked the question, “If you could choose a signature “something”, what would it be?” Joe’s reply: “A coat.” And so the idea began. We started with the bones of the classic Barkers Raymond Coat, the stand up collar being the key feature. We added length to create a bold silhouette and then set about choosing the fabric. A Wool-Cashmere blend had the balanced feeling of a good weight and a luxurious hand feel with a slight sheen. Custom lining, piping and buttons were decided on before designing a special set of labels to finish it off. This coat is a limited edition with 50 pieces created in total. Each coat is hand numbered and signed by Joseph Parker.
