Japanese Nomad Taper Jean

You, and more importantly the place where you live, matter. That's why our denim collection has been crafted to the highest possible ethical and environmental standards. We strive for all of our products to have the least impact possible on our planet. We believe in transparency at every step of the process so to help us measure our denim products impact we use a EIM tool (Environmental Impact Measuring tool). It tells us how much impact the product has when it comes to water and energy consumption, chemicals as well as the health of the workers. Our goal is to score 80% green (low impact) – and to have no red scored styles.

Our Japanese Nomad Taer Jean have an EIM medium impact score of 40. The fabric comes from Kaihara, one of the world's most respected and Japan's largest denim mill. The jeans themselves are cut, sewn and washed at Saitex in Vietnam, the cleanest denim factory on the planet.

Our Nomad Taper Jeans are great for those who want the look of a slim fit but have room to move. Designed with an athletic build in mind; relaxed through the hip and thigh with a tapered leg. Notable detailing pays homage to the origins of the fabric. These jeans are made from premium Japanese denim with just a bit of added stretch for a truly comfortable fit that looks as good as it feels.

Environmental Impact Measuring (EIM) – Powered by Jeanologia
EIM is a tool developed by sustainable finishing company Jeanologia which assesses the environmental impact of garment finishing processes by measuring key factors like water and energy consumption, the use of chemicals and the health and safety of workers. Based on these calculations, the garment is given a score of 0-100, 0-33 indicating low impact, 34-66 medium impact and 67-100 high impact.
